Georgia Tech Starting OL Moving On
Georgia Tech’s two year starting guard Joseph Gilbert, a third year sophomore in 2009, has announced that he will be graduating and leaving the team to attend grad school. This move means that Tech will now have to replace three starting linemen as two time All ACC guard Cord Howard and tackle Brad Sellers graduate. After the early entry to the NFL of WR DeMaryius Thomas and RB Jonathan Dwyer, the Tech offense will now return just six starters.
